Students earn high school and post-secondary credits while completing 12 credits towards an Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate.
About the Program
- Are you passionate about shaping future generations by nurturing young minds? Our Early Childhood Education (ECE) Dual Credit Program offers a unique opportunity for high school students to jumpstart their careers in early childhood education while earning both high school and post-secondary credits. The program, in partnership with University of the Fraser
Valley (UFV), allows students to complete FOUR courses towards their Early Childhood Education Certificate. Students earn these post-secondary credits while also receiving credits towards high school graduation.

Requirements
- Be registered in the Langley School District
- Be 18 or younger on June 30 of application year
- Have not graduated from high school before starting the program
- Be on track to graduate
Prerequisites
- Have completed before the start of the program:
- Grade 11
- English 11
- Recommended:
- C+ or higher in English 10 and Math 10
- Experience working with children
